First try the following up end the pump and see if the impellar [that that drives the water into the pump] is free if not turn it slowly and gently with a small screwdriver until it does move freely with no resistance. set the pump back in the water and try it. If that works prob solved if it doesn't check power is getting to the pump socket. If power is then it's a new pump. So don't let it run dry again.

most of the caravan cold feed pumps are plug in units there are some fitted /stored in the external housing and I assume they also are plug ins. The pump socket has two retaining turn buttons that hold the pumps in position, turn them back clear from the pump and pull the pump out. Replacement Pumps between £18 -£26.
