how do i reset service spanner?

i have a laguna 2 and just want change oil & filter! how do i reset the service spanner without taking to a garage? 1.8 petrol 2001 model

Renault Renault Laguna 2 Vehicles, Cars Reset Service Spanner

Hi Chris, this method should work!
Switch ignition ON (not start)
repeatedly press the button on R/H column stalk until the Spanner symbol flashes and distance remaining to next service appears in speedo display.
Press and hold button to the right of centre display until the display has flashed 8 times.
Release the button the new service interval is now displayed.
Switch ignition OFF
