Mend Panasonic UF-9000 Fax Faxes Problem

How do I fix a panasonic panafax uf 9000?

This is an office fax and it sometimes sents and receives faxes, but sometimes doesn't. To fix the problem temporalily, I turn it off, unplug it and then plug it back in and turn it back on. Some how, some way, the problem still returns. How do I go about fixing this for good.
