The water continues to flow from the shower after the stop button has been pressed. All the lights on the shower go out but the only way to stop the water is to shut off the supply.
It may be a problem with the solenoid valve inside the shower unit. You can take it out and try descaling/cleaning it if it looks like there is evidence of limescale buildup. If this does not work, you may need to replace it.
