i had same trouble on the almera took it to a auto electrician at nissan a friend who works there said that it had to go on diagnostics to clear the fault code the old one had created in the ecu and recode the new one took him 10 mins but dealer charged me £35 for doing it but saved a fortune on the sensor as nissan genuine are blooooming expensive lol.
