LG Flatron Plasma TV rz42px11?

I have the same problem, there is only lines no sound and no pictures. Bn told its the tube. Is it possible to find the tube or to repair it? where can l get cheaper parts?

I also have a very similar problem with LG Flatron Plasma tv model number RT 42px12x and I am getting coloured vertical lines. Started on the right side then moved to the left. last night the left side went black and then multiple rainbow colours and then black again. I know of others who have experienced the same problem. I believe it is a fault which stems back to the manufacture. Have contacted the manufacture regarding the problem with frustrating results.

The TV only stays on for one hour, then switches its self off. Why is this?

its an expensive repair. the colour strips mean that the y sus board is faulty and the top and bottom control boards are also faulty.

All three need to be replaced. some engineers just replace the top and bottom control boards and that cures the problem but it will occur again in one to three months time again

I was watching a DVD movie when it cracked very loudly.My screen is now mosaic.Dark picture in the background still moving as normal.Sound is ok. A little bit of advice would be good.Best wishes Ron
