where is the thermostat located on a 1996 nissan primera and how do you replace it please?

Follow the bottom hose of the radiator upto where it connects to the head area and you see a metal housing the shape of a triangle with a yellow warning sticker on it undo the 3 bolts and pull the housing off and you will see the thermostat pull it out. Test your new one get some hot/boiling water place the new thermostat in the water and watch to see if it opens remember let the car cool down first
