how can i fix my airbag on fiesta n reg 1.1?

hi nigel, thanks for replying, my daughter is at work in the car at the moment but i will check what you said when she comes home.i was just worried that the airbag might not work. i do did look under the seat before but could not find any cables,as i know she does take passengers and thought maybe they could of caught something with their feet.unless the cable could be fitted under the carpet what do you think?. thanks again for your time very much appreciated.

Hi Annette, the rough road will not of affected it, if the car has seatbelt pre-tensioners, have a look at the wiring under the seats (all cased in yellow sleeving) as constant back & forward adjustments of the seats can pull on the connections and cause the problem you have, the otherthing is the spring connections from the steering wheel airbag to the fixed steering column, or it could just be the airbag module has in internal fault.
