suzuki 300 king quad carburetor problems?

300 king quad won't get gas to the carb. cleaned the petcock, gas will come out but it will not squirt to the carb, from the petcock it goes to a plastic block. is this a gas filter? it has 3 hoses to it, one from the petcock, then 1 goes to carb, the other, has to be
a vac hose. i blowed thru the petcock hose, air comes out at the carb fitting, but no gas will come thru, any suggestions?????

I had the same problem that is solved by a new rectifier (Small electrical box with cooling fins used to conver AC to DC current) hopes this helps

i have a 300 king quad starts fine cold or hot give it throttle and it starts to sputter turn on the lights and it works fine until today it sputters with lights on or of cant figure it out yet any body have any ideas what might be wrong with it

hi my suzuki 300 is getting to much gas and foul the spark plug right away when drive a short time. Is there a adjustment on the carburetor that you can turn it down a little jim

i just bought a king quad maybe a 95 mine did everything the same idle quit full throttle quit went through the carb 5 times tank the same found out today stater unit over charges try running it with your lights on this may help i thought the same thing no fuel tried running with lights on runs money so i guess i run with lights all the time oh well

Hi, I have 1991 king
I haven't had your exact problem, but it could be several things. There are 2 gause on the tap at the bottom of the tank, two screws removes it and you can check for dirt. There is a fuel pump which works off vacuum from the intake stroke. The vacuum pipe connects to the carb. Disconect fuel pipe from the carb and turn over engine, fuel should spurt out. Remove carb and clean it out. Also check the carb-cylinder pipe, it could be cracked. I hope this helps
