how can i fix my candy frost free fridge freezer?

I moved the fridge/freezer along an uneven kitchen floor while trying to lay carpet underneath . After struggling for a while I heard a slow hiss from behind the freezer which continued for a while and the freezer lost pressure when closing the door. There is a small device fitted onto a pipe leading away from the cylinder which at some point was fitted and when moved slightly allowed ethanol to escape. I bought the freezer secondhand but the quality of the whole unit was suberb. can anything be done to fix this.
