colour gone in the bush tv?

my bush tv, has gone to a bright reddish orange colour now, its annoying, and one day it all turned blue, i want to know how to fix it

hi i have similar problem for my bush tv.. getting only 3 or 4 colours including green and purple.. but my bush tv model is WS6673SIL.

could you please help if i have to replace the thermistor as suggested? If so there are many models on ELC website. I'm unable to decide which one.

please help me

just like to say a big thanks, our tv went this week, same problem as yours, ordered the part from elclondon arrived next day, took 30mins to fit. Now seems to be working fine.

Hi, my name is mark, I had the the same problem for weeks now on my bush TV. model No-Ws6680Sil/C7 ,
My tv has colour but bottom left a green patch and top right purple patch of colour. The simptoms where getting progressively worse. So today I thought search the net ,and I come across your comment chris(above). I found the thermistor on the board. A little sign of heat on the circiut board by the side of the it. thought I would resoldier the connections. Luckerly this did the job. THANKS TO YOU.
Repaired the tele 1 hour ago. its looking good.

Had the same thing, rainbow colour circles round the tube corners and green in the middle of my mother in laws TV. Did some research and bought a new thermistor from the elclondon website. Thermistor type MZ73-18 cost £3-50 + VAT. Simple to fit - just 3 soldered joints, after accessing the front undreside of main board (also easy). The thermistor is beside a two pin connector which feeds the coil of wire that wraps round the backend of the screen (Degaussing Coil). Now works a treat and I was quoted £75 and £80 in 2 repairs shops. Thermistor elements burnt out and causes screen to be magnetised. Unfortunatelty ELC minimum order is £5 so I ordered some lightbulbs with it and the kit arrived next day.
