How to fix Wharfedale Wharfedale LCD3710HDA 37" LCD tv No picture?

Wharfedale LCD3710HDA 37" LCD TV no picture but has sound. sometimes the picture will work but goes blank after a while. backlight looks as if its still lit though.

i have just changed my warfedale tv from sky to normal aerial and i just get a blank screen saying no signal. the arial is fine cos have tested another tv on it. can u help me.

sounds like your inverter has gone down , this happens when power is not getting to the component properly causing the screen to come on then go to black screen after about 3 seconds , getting parts for this will be very difficult and expensive , if the set is older than 3 to 4 years might be cheaper to buy a new set , hope this helps

It is almost certainly a power adapter problem. This is a very common problem with warfedale's. I had the same problem twice with my warfedale TV, and in the end bought a new make of adapter for about £25 on ebay.
