iveco van wont start?

could be timing belt jumped a tooth, need to remove belt covers to check. belt tensioner is manually adjusted and not automatically as a lot now are. they do become slack - i say this from experiencing this fault!

i appologise for the rant.previous respondant is correct,i could be wrong.diagnostics is not a precise thing,especialy remotely.however the test with the easystart is absolutly definative.if it wont run on this stuff then its in the motor NOT the fuel supply

this is free.i make nothing from this.so.1 can of easystart availiable at fuel stations everywhere.remove air filter and spray a SMALL amount in intake duct.easystart is highly volotile and will start and run a motor with no carb or fuel pump if diesel.the idea is if the motor runs on it then all the mechanical internals must be ok.if it will not run 4 cyls then something is wrong inside,yes.so if it will not run 4cyls on easy start and the fuel system is discounted,it has to be internal.process of elimination.standard tests:1black smoke?burning incomplete fuel.2blue smoke,burning engine oil.3white smoke?trying to burn water/coolant.ur are under no obligation to trust me and i understand if u dont but ur options are limited at this point.it dont run.all 3 of mine do with no complaints.

could be water in the fuel, drain tank refil
