Mend Zanussi DE6854 Not Heating Water

Zanussi DE6854 not heating water or drying?

The water heater on the dishwasher is not working. The temperature sensor is OK, the heater itself is OK. Rinses Hold cycle is OK. Washes OK but no hot water or drying.

take the pcb out of the fascia panel (where the buttons are that you press to select programs).mark the connections and then remove them all.open up the plastic housing and you will find a relay (inch rectangular bit.might be black or blue in colour???).check pcb tracks and bad solder joints on relay as this is the usual failing point.repair tracks with 15a fuse wire and solder them into place
