Mend Whirlpool Washing Machine Started Noise

WHIRLPOOL top loading Washing Machine Thumping & Drum Loose?

If my WHIRLPOOL has started to make a thumping noise during the spin cycle AND the Drum/Basket seems to have more free play (looser)... Will I Ruin My Machine Using It Until I Can AFFORD to Repair It?????????

Hello,

If the washer continues to hit the washer during spin, I don't think this is a good thing for the machine and will probably wear a hole in the drum. There are 4 springs connected to the tub and if one of those were to come out it would knock the balance off the machine.
