Hi, i've borrowed a car to use for a holiday and theres no oil in it! Its a ford mondeo LS, 2 litre, petrol, manual. I have some 10w40 left over from my car, is that okay? or what should I be putting in? thanks

hi Sue, it should be 5W30 semi-synthetic or option 5W40 semi-synthetic, Non-synthetic will cause problems for the engine in the long term
