Mend Briggs & Stratton 18 hp Oil Lawn

!* hp Briggs and stratton fuel mixing in with oil?

I have a 18 hp Brigs and stratton lawn mower(Craftsman) that has a side mounted fuel pump. The problem I am having is that the fuel keeps mixing in with the oil an vise versa is this a float problem ?

Fuel on the sump is almost certainly the result of a leaking float valve. Remove the float and check the condition of the fuel inlet needle valve. Probably just needs cleaning.
