Mend Light Not Working

Light not working?

My living room uplighter has stopped working. Ive checked the fuse in the plug and also changed the bulb. Any ideas ??

That's why you move the old bulb, to try to move the fault.

The correct diagnostice technique is to try to "move the fault". That is to say move the bulb, fuse, etc. to a known good device. The device will fail when you fit the failing component to it.

it could be your dimmer switch. you can purchase new ones or pick one off of one that someone is throwing away

This may sound daft but i have done it my self in the past.
You did check to see that the new bulb was ok.
