Mend Sony MZ-RH710 Water Won Work

How do I dry it out ?

Yes I am an idiot, once again technology meets water and water won tha battle. I was at work taking a short bathroom break when I finished and turned round and dropped my lovely minidisc into the toilet. I am currently tyring to dry it out and I was wondering how long would it take and does it work afterwards. Please please help as this was a gift from my fiancee so I can listen to my own produced music when I am not writing it. All help is greatfully appreciated.

It is a Sony Hi-MD walkman mz-rh710

First off - remove batteries, power supply etc. Then apply hair drier or gentle heat from radiator. If you are lucky, when it is completely dry, it may work when powered up again.

s..l..o..w drying out is the only answer and even then it might not work.leave it in the airing cuboard or somewhere warm for a week.it worked for me with an ipod
