Your unit sounds like the new style that snaps together. Take a large flat screwdriver and pry off the large wheels in the back. Under the wheels on the side are the snaps. Slide a medium size flat screw driver down into the snaps. Push and pry away from the body at the same time. This will allow the top to come loose from the body.
