Mend Zanussi Dishwasher Spray

Zanussi Dishwasher Top Spinner not revolvolving?

My Zanussi dishwasher works ok but the items on the top shelf do not get cleaned an i have discovered the top 'spinner arm ' is hot turning
Ihave made sure the arm is freee and it is not blocked .
water is spraying out but the arm will not spin

any ideas
