how to reset my paragon plus alarm system?

I have the instructions manual but don't know how to facory reset my alarm. At present i don't have the codes to set it! Is there a code for all alarms once factory settings are restored if so what are they.

To reset turn power off and remove cover, Remove battery and then remove small black jumper from the middlle of the cicuit board. Power back up with battery and put jumper pin back.
Code will be 1234 for user code and 9999 for engineer code
