Ive just filled me fiat brava with oil upto the max level?

Hi. Hope someone can help. Ive just put oil in my fiat brava upto the max level and now white smoke is belching out of my exhaust. Can anyone help please? thanx

It sound like you have actually gone over the max level. Undo the sump plug a let a little oil out. NOT on the road though!
