Mend Glow-worm Economy Plus 30 Boiler Pump Circulation

why does my pump not turn of on my economy plus 30 when heating goes off?

Pump runs on all day after heating has gone off. The only way to get it to go off is to boost heating for an hour then turn stat up then down again. This stops pump running.
The boiler is an economy plus 30, it was fitted in 1999

not familiar with the boiler.

but if pump is internal and keeps running, the problem is either with the thermister for 'pump over-run' or the pcb

if it is external, and wired back to the boiler, it is the pcb
