how can i fix my digihome LCD26701HD tv?

This is a problem that seems common to these sets and others that use the same chassis such as Acoustic Solutions and Wharfedale.
Screen sizes affected are 26",32"and 37".
It`s a shame because they are otherwise good sets.
The problem is caused by a multi pin connecting cable inside the set that connects two circuit boards.
Symptoms can be intermitent picture loss.
Unusual picture colours.
Picture disappears after several minutes or hours but sound remains.Also Backlight is still lit during these faults.
Unfortunately repair requires a fair bit of dismantling of set and quite delicate ,skillfull work so would probably be expensive.
