What is the cut out switch in Ford Escort 1.4 1996?

I have a Ford Escort 1.4 1996, in the car there is a sticker that says there is a cut out switch in the car does anyone know where this is located

I think on most Fords its in the front foot well on the passenger side.

If the car's working OK don't worry about it. many cars have a switch that cuts off the fuel pump in the event of an accident. It helps prevent a fire starting if a fuel line is severed. If you have an accident and the car won't start that's when you need to know where it is!
