You have a tamper fault, probably in the kitchen or back door. Get the electrician to come round and fix it at his expense, or at least organise a compitent electrician to fix it.
You won't be able to set the alarm until this fault is cleared, cos' if you could Mr Thief could come round and then just rip all the wires out and the alarm wouldn't sound
