how to install trimmer line on ryobi cs30 weedeater?

Push in on the two tabs on the side of the head assy - remove the line spool - feed 10 feet of line halfway throught the center of the spool - do not wind the line around the spool - feed the two ends of the line through the side holes on the spool holder assy- line up two arrows on the bottom as you reassemble the spool back into the assy -snap into place - turn the center knob on the bottom counter clockwise to wind line - stop when you have about 6 inches sticking out on each side.

line up the two arrows on the bottom, remove any excess string, cut two pieces of string about 10 feet, feed line in the side holes, secure line in hole wear it comes out the bottom (it only takes about 1/4in. to do so), pull strings tight, then turn counter clockwise. sometimes it sticks a little just pull line a little. (you do not have to take anything apart) Hope this helps. Good luck!
