Piaggio nrg 4 years old - when warm loses power then cuts out?

Just bought a piaggio nrg 4 yrs old from a trader but when it has warmed up it loses power and will finally cut out. Is this a major problem?

Hi Kim try a new sparkplug and make sure the choke is working OK
I had the same problem on my quad stuck a new sparkplug in and
It fixed the prob
