jus changed one in a car park!!! more hassle than it was worth!!! 97-r plate and most nuts and bolts were siezed solid. took a very long time to fix. more hassle came from the rear gearbox mount when splitting lump and box!!!! i think it would have been easier to drop engine and box together then split them.

Take out the old one and then put the new one in the space left by the old one.
Seriously, that is a huge question. I suggest that you buy a Haynes manual for your car. It will step you through it. It will also help you to decide if you have the skills needed for the task.
