how can i fix my high emissions on my toyota rav 4?

Hi Geoff, the first things to do is give the engine a service, fit a new air filter, replace the plugs, change the oil and make sure its not overfilled and check that all the engine breather pipes are not blocked, if its still too high emmisions a compression test will reveal if the engine bores are worn and giving low compression making the engine less efficient, if thats ok, then your looking at a new Lambda sensor and "Cat"
