can i turnoff & remove my backboiler fire front?

Hi all, we have a efficient back boiler with a ugly brick style miami fire front. Its never used. Could I get it turned off and remove it? Would like to put a plasma flat screen over it. Is there any alternative at all please???other than just a no! thanks.(glow worm back boiler 45/2)

you could remove the firefront but couldnt cover over:

1: the bbu sits quite proud of your wall
2; its open flue and needs to be open

save for a new one would be your best approach for pleasing to the eye
