replace old thermostat?

Hi John, drain the radiator, undo the bolts on the thermostat housing, remove the thermostat, fit new one replace the housing gasket and use some gasket sealant, refit all pipework refill radiator with a 50/50 mix of water and all season anti freeze, run the engine with the radiator cap off untill it gets up to temperature, refit the cap, leave idling for 10 mins and check for any leaks, leave to cool down and then check the water level and top up if required
