Can I upgrade Honda 2003 sat nav disk?

I have a 2003 CR-V WITH Alpine onboard satnav using
a ver 2.05 disk. Can I upgrade to a 3.23 disk and if so are there any adjustments to the system to make. I have tried a friends disk but the screen looks like a child has scribbled on it.
Can anyone help please.

Not possible - only post 2006 Voice Controlled Honda Sat Nav uses disks with version ref. of 3.??

Pre-06 only works with DVDs having V2.?? discs
