Mend Briggs & Stratton

Points?

I have a 5hp Briggs&Stratton rototiller. I have put a new set of points in it. FIRST PULL IT STARTED. It acted as tho it had run out of gas and I cannot start it again. I am not sure I set the points correctly can some one give me the instructions on how to set the points?
