how can I fix my YT 16 lawn mower?

when my Ford YT 16 in in forward drive it makes a screeching noise. It has no power to move forward although can reverse okay. Can you please help.

I think this is your gear box. I managed to change mine for somthing similar from Westwood, but it cost some £100s.
