freezer not working properly?

I have been having the same problem for the past 6 months. Engineer finely discovered that the sensor in the front of heater is not working. Needs replacing but the leads from it go to the back and the pipes are surrounded by foam therefore remdial work cannot be done. Going back to Hotpoint today to ask for advice. Looks like a replacement Freezer required but of course mine is out of warranty. We are not the only ones and there has not been any recall on this model - it is a manufacturing fault and Indesit have replaced others.
