According to this "Stereo Geek" guy I know, the drive wheel that loads and unloads the CD's can become slick from burned CD's with Laser & InkJet labels. You can either use another CD or Popsickle stick to get it out. Just start to insert the "Technical Removing Device" and the extra tension will get the drive wheel to spit the jammed CD out. However, this method can cause scratching to one or both CD's, so be aware.
His fix was to take the unit to a repair place and have the drive wheel replaced and quit using burned CD's with Laser & InkJet labels.
You're suppose to be able to remove the unit with metal coat hangers cut and bent into a "U" (1 pair) that you insert into the holes in the front of the unit. However, mine failed to "un-clip" and the unit wouldn't come out. Maybe you'll have better luck.
