Mend Briggs & Stratton Omega 46 Lawn Mower Engine Problem

Briggs & Stratton Omega 46, Loud Skreech?

The mower will start and run, then some time later there is a loud skreech and the starter cord feeds out and gets tangled in the return spring.it will start again once I untangle the cord.
