My Diplomat (ADP5701) oven door is falling open?

The door of my Diplomat oven is not closing. What started off as being just slightly open has now opened quite a bit and it seems that anything I try to cook in the oven is taking forever. I also have small children and I am scared the oven door is going to fall open and hurt somebody. I know the seal has deteriorated, but not sure about the hinges. Because the door is open the knobs are all burnt and I have to use oven gloves to turn the hob on and off because of the heat coming from the oven.

Not sure if I need a new door or just some replacements - can someone please give me some advice?

Have now quite easily replaced hinges - cost £30 including VAT and delivery - took me and hubby an hour or so - very good instructions on UK Whitegoods - used a vice and long spanner to lock hinges before fitting. Now need new knobs as old ones burnt, but they seem very expensive. Have also in last few months replaced bottom element - easy and quite cheap - and seal inside inner glass - I think this was needed due to heat escape from bad fitting door. Hopefully will now keep going a bit longer! Fingers crossed.

I have exactly the same problem - bought mine from MFI and they say it is a problem with this model!! Great - they didn't tell me that when I bought it!! I have burnt fingers - have replace door seal = replaced elements - so now I suppose I have to buy new hinges - can't afford a new cooker but if I could I would just bin this one !!

need new hinges to stop the door from falling open door seal so heat wont escape when fixed door and if knobs are burnt mite need to replace them as well
