how to get rid of vbs startpage.6?

Try this
click on start/run in bottom left corner.
Type in msconfig hit enter
go to start up tab on the right click it
youll see a lot of things that load at start up with tickboxes
untick your demon programme, save it and reboot it
This is generally handy to get rid of any start up crap too.

I know this will seem like a smart suggestion, but why not try using a different web browser like Firefox. I've used this for a while and I just don't get these sorts of problems any more. I used to when using Internet Explorer.
