How can I fix my Neff electirc hob?

Hi wondered if anyone knows how to get my cooker hob working again, when I switch it on the key symbol comes on and so the hobs will not come on.
Any ideas???????

you have to hold the main power button for 5 seconds and it turns on. Seems like a safety lock feature.
