Mend BMW X5 Radio Display Cd

the volume on my sat nav and radio in my bmw x5 keeps cutting out?

whilst the display for the radio, cd and sat nav still operates, the noise does not always transmit to the speakers and is either operating fine, or no volume at all. any ideas?

the telephone mute at your centre consule is the problem.if you disconnect it the radio will work fine. the only drawback is your handsfree for your phone does not work
