how would the maf sensor effect the turbo, if the maf sensor isnt plugged in then the car wont start if it is broken then it still wont start. have u had an oil change recently or been kicking it done the road with out a lot of oil in the sump of the engine

How old is your car ? It could be the MAF (mass air flow sensor) that has failed.
