Mend Miele W 985 Washing Machine Repair Leak

How can I fix my miele w 985 front loading wash machine?

I cleaned the filter which is located in the front lower left portion of the machine. When I put the filter back in the machine and tried to run the machine, the water began to fill and then the water ran directly onto the floor through the filter drain. I believe this might be a loose hose in the machine, but I can not figure out how to get to the insides of the machine and before I call for repairman I would like to at least try to fix the simple stuff.

Hi John My Miele a W827 opens from the front, remove the 3 bolts from the door opening, remove the soap dispenser drawer and 2 screws from the opening,remove the drain tap from the filter door. The door hinges from the right hand side. I would think yours will be similar but may have an extra screw somewhere. Hope this helps.
