Mend Belling XOU594SS Repair Oven Electric

can i fix my cooker? Belling XOU594SS?

How can I fix my belling built in electric double oven it blew at xmas have had no cooker since !!!? It flashed at the top and made a bang noise then tripped out. Tried again and it did the same thing. No visual signs of blowing apart from the flash. Shall I get rid . It is only 18 months old and costs £380

Obviously your cooker has a direct short to earth - probably due to the main heating element having failed...unless it got wet up there somehow. Don't try switching on again, but either call an engineer who will be able to track the fault in minutes and give you a quote to repair, or delve deep into the piggy bank. Your choice!
