Hotpoint aquarius washer dryer 1000 wd23p , will not pump out water during wash cycle, i have cleaned and checked for blockage through out the machine.its now ok and like new. Pump runs when connected to its own power,is lasy pump poss ? can i check the power to connecter block wires with multimeter with out filling machine with water ? and check pump works on the machine ?I think the wires go back to the Tomer control unit. Any ideas or things i can try ? Thanks people.
the best way to check your pump is to connect a multimeter
to the pump connectors with the pump fitted to the machine
and set your control to spin, does the pump rattle? the impeller
or shaft bearings could be worn if the meter does not show a reading then your fault could be in the tomer
