Sewing Machine wont pick up boppin thread?

Hello,

I have a STITCHMASTER M-622 sewing machine, the needle wont pick up the boppin thread, I tried to adjust the needle to the correct flat side, it wont pick up. Probably it is the timing. I do not know how to adjust the timing. Could you pls help.
