accenta mini g4?

I have just bought a accenta mini g4 with a lcd keypad.
I have wired the key pad to the control panel, left all the Tamper links in and connected the power.
All i get is the key pad information 'accenta optima' with the information 'f130-01-101' underneath.
No power light or day light showing, and the keypad alarm is constantly sounding.
entering the defualt code and/or the engineer code has no effect and when you press the keys there is not key sound (i assume there should be)
