My Ford radio 5000, shuts it self off after 1 hour whether the engine is running or not. As thou it is switched on without the ignition. Otherwise seems to work OK? Some of the menus suggested in the manual aren't available. Have checked the connections at the back, all seem intact? Any ideas Thanks
Providing you have the radio security code , what might be worth trying is to disconnect the fuse or battery for 10 minutes, then reconnect and re-enter the code.
